Plant Product Manager - Film & Paper Category
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Plant Product Manager - Film & Paper Category at our plant Constantia Ebert you are responsible for defining the product strategy and for developing state-of-the-art, tailor-made solutions together with the sales team to meet the needs of our clients. This role reports directly into the Head of Product Management Constantia Ebert Film & Paper and is located in Wiesbaden. Among the daily duties and tasks of the Plant Product Manager are:
- Being a product expert along intense machine knowledge, packaging and production machinery.
- Translate customer specification into internal specification, define production and quality proof plan.
- Assure proper customer documentation such as DOC and other food law compliance documents.
- Define production processes, implement new product specifications.
- Implement translation of portfolio into a sustainable portfolio.
- Drive, execute and implement sustainable product specifications.
- Continuously improve existing specifications, develop new specifications and innovations.
- Continuously search and implement alternative raw materials to ensure raw material mitigation and margin improvement.
- Technical lead of in- and external Product Management projects.
- Support customer on site with claims together with quality management.
- Support sales in customer visits through innovations, technical presentations, and expertise
TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Technical background with ~2 years’ experience in Product Management and/or Application Engineering
- Experience within the flexible or rigid packaging industry is preferable.
- First practical experience in Project Management
- Fluent in English and German (oral and written)
