5.1. Utilization of cookies

Currently, we don't use Preference cookies on our website. Preference cookies are typically used to track users' preferences and choices, like language selection, theme preferences, or other customizable options. But don't worry, since we don't use Preference cookies, we won't collect or store any specific preferences from you. 

5.2. Social Media and other services of third parties  

5.2.1. YouTube videos  

Our website integrates YouTube videos in "extended data protection mode", ensuring no user data is transferred to YouTube unless a video is played, based on your prior consent given according to Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR. Upon website visit and video play, certain data (referenced in section 4) is transmitted to YouTube regardless of whether you're logged into a YouTube or Google account. If logged in, your data is linked directly to your account; to avoid this, you must log out before video activation. YouTube stores your data as user profiles for purposes like advertising, market research, and website customization. This includes providing targeted advertising and informing other users of your activities. If you wish to object to this profiling, please contact YouTube.

5.2.2 LinkedIn Insight Tag 

Our website also employs LinkedIn Insight Tag, a tool provided by LinkedIn, which enables in-depth campaign reporting and unlocks valuable insights about our website visitors. We use this tool to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and gain additional insights about the LinkedIn members interacting with our ads. 

By visiting our website, LinkedIn receives the information that you have visited our website, and the data mentioned under section 4 of this policy is transmitted to LinkedIn. This occurs whether or not you are logged into your LinkedIn account. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, your data will be directly associated with your account. 

LinkedIn uses this data to create user profiles for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or website customization. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact LinkedIn to exercise this right.

Your personal data is handled confidentially. It's only transferred to third parties for the necessary functioning of the website, legal requirements, or if you consent, provided these third parties are GDPR-compliant or committed to similar protection levels. We might also share your data with our processors (contractors), who are contractually obligated to follow data protection and security standards. Data can also be transferred to our subsidiaries or processors outside the EU or EEA, only if there's an adequacy decision by the European Commission or if adequate safeguards are in place.

We'll delete your personal data when its purpose ceases to exist, unless there are legal record-keeping obligations or legal claims necessitating further storage.
