Plant Product Manager Dairy, Technical Applications & Confectionery Foil

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Plant Product Manager Dairy, Technical Applications and Confectionery Foil is responsible for defining the product strategy and for developing state-of-the-art, tailor-made solutions together with the sales team to meet the needs of our clients. This role reports directly into the Head of Strategic Market Product Management Dairy, Technical Applications and Confectionery Foil and is located at our plant Constantia Teich in Weinburg. Among the daily duties and tasks of this role are:


Technical Expertise:
• Being a product expert along intense machine knowledge, packaging and production machinery.
• Translate customer specifications into internal specifications.
• Define production and quality proof plans.
• Technical lead of in- and external Product Management projects.
• Support sales in customer visits through innovations, technical presentations, and expertise.


Sustainability & Innovation:
• Drive, execute and implement sustainable product specifications.
• Continuously improve existing specifications, develop new specifications and innovations


Quality Assurance:
• Assure proper customer documentation such as DOC and other food law compliance documents.
• Define production processes, implement new product specifications.
• Support customer on site with claims together with quality management.

REQUIREMENTS:


Technical Attributes:
• Technical background with ~2 years’ experience in Product Management and/or Application Engineering
• Experience within the flexible or rigid packaging industry is preferable.
• First practical experience in Project Management
• Fluent in English and German (oral and written)

The minimum annual gross salary according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement amounts to € 50.286,18 plus overpayment. The overpayment depends on the qualifications of the jobholder.
