Global Procurement Category Manager - IT & Services
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Global Procurement Category Manager for IT & Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of €90 million spend across the organization. Within the services category, the role manages the following subcategories: professional & general services, fleet, insurance, and travel. Among the key responsibilities of the Global Procurement Category Manager IT & Services are:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and facilitate sourcing strategies for IT and services categories, ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure the best value for the organization.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations, to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies support business goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, supplier landscapes, and emerging technologies.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Advanced degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: +7 years of relevant experience in IT and services procurement, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
- Project Management: Strong Project Management and Leadership skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Market Analysis: Proficient in market analysis and strategic sourcing.

Hours: Fulltime
Compensation: depending on the job-related experience, starting at 80.000 EUR gross a year (based on the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry).
