Commercial Manager Dairy

Are you passionate about driving customer value and shaping innovative business models? As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in maximizing customer value across our Dairy business segment.

In this strategic position, you will identify and recommend improvement initiatives that enhance our product and service offerings. You’ll support complex business decisions, contribute to strategic planning, provide negotiation support, and foster alignment among internal stakeholders and leadership.

This role also offers the opportunity to promote best practice sharing across departments, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration. In the medium term, your efforts will lead to consistent value creation through the implementation of targeted improvement plans—fully supported by our Sales Force and Operations teams.

YOUR TASKS:

• Business Performance Monitoring & Analysis
  Track and analyze revenue and margin performance, identify root causes of deviations, and propose corrective actions to minimize negative impacts.
• Strategic Growth & Market Development
  Lead and support short- and long-term growth initiatives, conduct financial feasibility studies, and assess new market opportunities in collaboration with market segment leaders.
• Commercial & Pricing Strategy
  Evaluate cost structures, recommend pricing strategies for new and existing products and services, and support the development of bundled offers to enhance customer value.
• Sales Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
  Partner closely with Sales, Key Account Management, and Site Management to develop account plans, define contract terms, and align on business strategies and customer solutions.
• Commercial Excellence & Best Practice Implementation
  Drive standardization and prize optimization projects, and ensure continuous improvement through best practice sharing and performance tracking.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:

• University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related fields
• Ideally experience in Consumer or Packaging Industry
• Strong financial understanding
• Analytical and structured way of working
• Fluent in English (written / spoken), any other language such as German is an advantage

Location: Vienna (with the option to work partially from Home Office)

Start: as of now

Hours: Fulltime 

Compensation: depending on the job-related experience, starting at 80.000 EUR gross a year (based on the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry if located in Vienna/Austria).
