Head of HR Pirk & HRBP Film Division (m/f/d)

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

As Head of HR Pirk & HRBP Film Division you are responsible for all HR-related topics of our biggest plant within the Film Division, located in Weiden. Furthermore, you support the respective HR activities in the Film Division, with potential extension of responsibilities, in line with the Divisional HR strategy, Group policies and guidelines.  In this role you are part of the Plant Management Team. Moreover, you lead a team of HR colleagues and you report directly to the Head of Plant, and functionally to the Divisional HR Director. Among your daily tasks and responsibilities are:

 

 

  • Lead the local HR functions, build an HR organization that fits the requirements of the local market and matches strategic targets (incl. Employer Branding initiatives) 
  • Provide professional daily HR advice to local managers, employees and ensure HR administration in accordance to local legislation, HR basics are delivered on time every time with high process excellence 
  • Overall responsibility for HR core processes of Recruiting, Termination, Performance, Training, Salary and Development of key positions on plant level and Sales positions in the divisional Matrix structure 
  • Responsible for managing the local apprentices program (recruiting, education, retention)
  • Drive needed Organizational Development projects and implement organizational changes including clarification of job profiles and RACI's 
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. 
  • Drive local HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) initiatives in close collaboration with Operations and local management 
  • Support as proactive Change Agent in acquisitions, restructuring, realignment activities 
  • Secure implementation of Corporate standards, structures, processes and guidelines across the employee-life-cycle 
  • Under consideration of global guidelines, proactively manage local Compensation & Benefits activities (e.g. salary policies and practices, functional bonuses and benefits, fringe benefits), applying a sustainable and future-oriented approach and balance the effectiveness with the financial needs of the business 
  • Close cooperation with the Shared Service Center which manages local payroll (SAP-based).
  • Responsible for estimating, forecasting personnel requirements, trends, and variances for Personnel budgeting 
  • Define and drive the implementation of the divisional HR strategy, adapted to local business needs, into local structures and processes 
  • Partner with Operations team to drive people related efficiencies & improvements across the plant  -Overtime, Fluctuation, Absenteeism, HSE, SEDEX & internal benchmarks 
  • Drive further all Group wide L&D processes through the plants (Succession Planning, Talent Management, Performance Management, etc.) and ensures systems/processes are in place to identify the bottom up identification of successors and talents 

 

 

Technical Requirements:

 

  • Degree in any relevant business stream with +5 years progressively responsible experience in HR within a manufacturing environment
  • ~2 years experience in handling Industrial Relation topics, preferably with Labor Unions
  • Experience in driving people related operational excellence & performance improvement measures
  • Professional HR qualification 
  • Sound knowledge of operational HR tools (SAP), business environment, labour market, government regulations 
  • Strong communicator with intercultural mindset and strong English language skills
  • Fluent in German (writing, speaking, reading)
