SAP ABAP Developer

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong knowledge of PP/QM modules to join our IT Applications Team. In this role, you will support and enhance Constantia’s custom-developed SAP applications. Your responsibilities will include developing, improving, and maintaining our SAP landscape to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs. In this position, beyond programming, you will also be responsible understand the packaging business and address the needs of our shopfloor and production operations. 

 

Your duties & responsibilities:

  • Development and programming of software, along with documentation, valid guidelines and standards.
  • Optimization and harmonization of processes within the SAP Print & Packaging solution.
  • Supporting project management in the planning and implementation of SAP projects.
  • Creating training documentation and carrying out training measures in coordination with the specialist departments.
  • Quality assurance of developments in the SAP ERP environment through test management and test execution.
  • Cooperation with the specialist departments to achieve the company's goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on similar position with a strong understanding of SAP PP/QM modules.
  • Experience with SAP-ERP-Systems and classic ABAP, 
  • Proficient in SAP ABAP programming and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of technologies like ABAP OO and FIORI.
  • Professional experience as a key user or end user in the production process environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP-Script, SmartForms and Adobe-Forms,
  • German communication skills.
