Project Manager

About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Manager to lead and support the implementation and daily operations of our shop floor software in a discrete manufacturing environment. This role bridges the gap between production, IT, and business, ensuring seamless integration and performance of shop floor systems.

 

Your duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management of shop floor software implementation, from installation to go-live and hyper care.
  • Support daily operations and troubleshoot issues related to shop floor software.
  • Manage and maintain interfaces between shop floor systems and various ERP platforms.
  • Ensure standardized KPIs are defined and maintained for production management.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, define changes, and support their implementation.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' of proven experience in project management, ideally in a production company.
  • Strong technical skills, including machine connections and communication protocols.
  • Solid understanding of shop floor operations in discrete manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrates assertiveness in decision-making.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Openness to business travels (up to 25% of time).

Nice to have:

    • German communication skills.
    • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
