Procurement Team Lead
About the role:
We are seeking a Procurement Team Lead to manage and oversee the procurement operations at Constantia Business Services. You will be responsible for ensuring all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and standards.
As the Procurement Team Lead, you will coordinate small operational team, develop procurement processes, and maintain contracts and licenses - mainly in IT area. Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. You will collaborate closely with senior managers across Group IT, Group Finance, and Group Procurement.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Negotiate contract renewals for hardware, software, and services with vendors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports.
- Manage tendering, selection, negotiation, and contracting for IT software, hardware, and services.
- Sourcing and procurement for selected administrative materials and services for holding companies.
- Initiate new supplier and vendor setups in the procurement system.
- Ensure timely and effective IT procurement and purchasing per Finance and Procurement processes.
- Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate IT contracts with third parties.
- Manage purchasing of small-value IT equipment and peripherals.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements and contractual terms for IT procurements.
- Verify and renew ongoing IT licensing and maintenance contracts.
- Participate in asset management for all hardware and software.
- Provide guidance and support for Procurement team members.
Our requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with knowledge of IT hardware and software.
- Proven experience in leading a team.
- Expertise in delivering value through effective category management and strategic sourcing frameworks and strategies.
- Knowledge and understanding of IT licensing and maintenance agreements.
- Experience in negotiating agreements and software contracts with IT service providers and vendors.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, e.g. SAP.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation.
