About the role:
We are looking for a Junior MDM Steward who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data by overseeing entity verification, managing data‑matching workflows, and ensuring adherence to enterprise data‑quality and governance standards.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Manage change requests and oversee the creation, updating, final approval, or rejection of business partner master data in SAP MDG in line with service level agreements.
- Perform master data deactivation, cleansing, duplicate consolidation, and golden record definition to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Set up and adjust standard data‑quality reports, including visualizations, and monitor key metrics such as data record volumes per lifecycle status.
- Enforce data standards, nomenclature, and the data model; identify data‑quality gaps and drive continuous improvement measures.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for key and end users by collecting business requirements, providing trainings and updates, delivering 2nd‑level support, and coordinating testing with IT.
- Support external credit insurance and internal credit limit processes, and participate in global MDG rollouts.
Our requirements:
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a Master Data Management role.
- Experience working with Master Data Management and SAP ERP systems, either as a user or as part of an implementation/project/consulting team.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or similar area.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; open‑minded and detail‑oriented.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
