Junior AR Accountant

About the role:

We are looking for a Junior AR Accountant, junior specialist who is eager to deepen their knowledge in accounting, particularly in the Accounts Receivable (AR) area. In this role, you will support the team with daily tasks, such as processing outgoing invoices and related documentation, handling received invoices and payments in line with agreed payment terms, and actively participating in key stages of the "order to cash" process. As a part of the AR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company accurately receives and records payments for goods and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Download & post bank statements according to plan agreed on project. 
• Apply cash against items on customers' accounts  - creating residual entries.
• Resolve unapplied/unidentified payments.
• Resolve day to day queries and operational issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Handle all emails received from Customers/ Stakeholders/ Auditors within agreed timeframes.
• Ensure that dunning run process is performed according to internal procedures. Ensure proper dunning reporting that allows full process overview. 

Our requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting, preferably in AR area.
• University degree or currently pursuing studies (preferably in accounting or finance).
• Knowledge of SAP - would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent communication skills in business English.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
