Divisional Controller

Divisional Controller is a part of the Aluminum Division Controlling team and act as a link between Division Plants, Group Controlling and Management. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to teams’ targets to provide analysis and insights for managerial decision making. In doing this, the position focuses on the functional controlling within financial and non-financial areas, reporting and planning cycle, supporting business development, benchmarking between Division plants, as well as cooperation with various internal stakeholders.

 

Your duties & responsibilities:

  • Divisional performance monitoring including P&L, Working Capital, Cash Flow, initiatives (sales, margins, product portfolio, costs, inventories, receivables, payables, operating and investing cash flows etc.)
  • The monthly closing and reporting cycle by preparing month-end files, presentations, specific analysis, writing comments.
  • Supporting within planning cycle processes like, forecasting, budgeting, long-term planning.
  • Getting data out of the data-warehouse, creating new meaningful reports.
  • Data analyzing and making transparent the main factors influencing divisional results.
  • Further development of the methods and tools to increase efficiency and transparency.

Our requirements:

  • University degree (preferably in controlling, accounting, or finance area).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position - in a controlling or finance department including month end closing and reporting, preferably in production company.
  • Fluent communication skills in business English.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, VBA, Power BI and experience in MS Office products.
  • Motivation and self-initiative, willingness to learn, team player.
  • Feel comfortable working with large amount of data and good organizational skills.
  • Analytical and strategic way of thinking, ability of quick perception, solution-oriented skills.

Nice to have:

  • Data Warehouse knowledge.
  • Experience in SAP, Microsoft AX or Navision.
  • First experience with consolidated financial statements.
