(Junior) Treasury Accountant

About the role:

We are looking for a (Junior) Treasury Accountant who will be is responsible for processing all kind of outgoing payments, banking transactions and its corresponding documents, guidelines and regulations. 

We are open to hiring both junior and regular-level specialists, so whether you're just starting out or already have some experience in treasury or accounting, this role could be a great fit.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Execute payment runs and manual payments in line with internal procedures.
• Monitor cash flow, including cash info and pooling activities.
• Prepare financial reports, verify data, and develop forecasts to meet operational and KPI targets.
• Download and post bank statements.
• Manually enter bank balances into SAP following internal guidelines.
• Resolve daily operational queries within SLA and escalate issues if needed.
• Respond to stakeholder and auditor inquiries within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and track process changes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the relevant area  - min. 1 year of experience in Treasury processes.
• University degree (preferably accounting or finance).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent communication skills in business English.

Nice to have:

• SAP knowledge and experience.
• Communication skills in additional language (German, French).
