Specialist, Purchasing
Job Description:
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to procurement and supply chain management. Your duties will include:

Creation of Purchase Orders: You will be responsible for generating purchase orders and ensuring timely follow-up with suppliers to ensure necessary updates are made in the system.

Strategic Purchasing Activities: You will play a key role in executing strategic purchasing activities with both domestic and foreign suppliers, aligning with our organizational targets and objectives.

Coordination of Deliveries: You will work closely with vendor and logistic teams to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure smooth logistics operations.

Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal supply chain stakeholders will be crucial to your role. Effective communication and collaboration are essential.

Supplier Research and Negotiation: Conducting research on supply terms and prices, negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best possible deals, and evaluating and reporting offers will be part of your responsibilities.

Supplier Development Projects: You will actively participate in supplier development projects aimed at improving the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our supply chain.

Reporting: Preparation and presentation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports detailing procurement activities, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics will be required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related departments.
- Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Demonstrated discipline, carefulness, and result-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in planning, organization, follow-up, and reporting.
- Dynamic and open-minded orientation.
- Possession of a valid driving license and ability to travel occasionally.
- Residing in Istanbul Anatolian Side.
