Title:  Senior, Financial Controller

Description: 

• Leading the financial controlling processes for two companies located in Ankara and İstanbul, ensuring consistent quality and alignment of reporting.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and KPI reports for both solo and consolidated results.
• Performing detailed variance analyses (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and providing clear, actionable insights.
• Providing guidance, on-the-job coaching, and knowledge sharing to junior team members within the controlling team.
• Supporting the Financial Controlling Manager in workload distribution, process ownership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serving as the primary contact for external and internal audit processes for both companies.
• Challenging and supporting cross-functional departments in setting realistic, data-driven assumptions.
• Leading the preparation of financial plans, annual budgets, forecasts, and mid-term plans.
• Ensuring alignment with Group Accounting policies and local statutory requirements.
• Producing ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations as requested by top management.
• Collaborating with other functions to gather financial data, analyze results, and enhance reporting quality.
• Travelling regularly between İstanbul (HQ) and Ankara to support local teams, audits, and closing processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; an MBA is a strong plus for candidates aiming at future leadership roles.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial controlling or financial audit.

  • Experience in one of the Big Four audit firms is an asset.

  • Experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.

  • Consolidation experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent command of English and Turkish.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a high sense of ownership.

  • Proficiency in SAP FI is a significant advantage.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Willingness to travel between İstanbul and Ankara.
