Title: HSSE Executive
I. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To ensure the facility operates in full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations. The HSSE executive plays a critical role in promoting a culture of safety, preventing incidents for employees, visitors, and contractors.
II. MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Propose, implement and monitor HSSE policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and Group guidance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all operational areas.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Oversee site security operations to ensure the protection of property and personnel.
- Support environmental management activities, including waste handling, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of HSSE performance metrics and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with operations teams to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and external auditors during inspections and compliance reviews.
- Continuously improve HSSE programs by identifying gaps and proposing practical improvement initiatives.
III. REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in safety, environmental, or engineering related fields.
- At least 5-year experience in HSE or Safety in a medium size factory environment.
- Proficiency in safety management systems and risk management practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
- Attention to details and high integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
