Specialist, Product Management

Job Description:

• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements, and compile insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of new product specifications, leveraging innovative approaches to meet evolving market demands.

• Foster collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, and third-party partners to drive research and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Facilitate customer visits to oversee machine trials and address any periodic complaints, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Strategically plan, coordinate, and execute new product launches, incorporating customer feedback and market insights into the product development process.

• Actively engage in continuous improvement efforts and internal projects aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and competitiveness.

• Liaise with suppliers to identify opportunities for product enhancements and cost optimization, negotiating favorable terms to maximize value for the company.

• Manage the entire product life cycle, from ideation to market launch, and conduct post-sales analysis to drive ongoing product improvements and enhancements.

• Direct technical teams in pricing and supply chain activities for new projects, ensuring alignment with cost targets and customer requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive material assessments and cost analyses, optimizing material usage and overseeing the procurement process for new materials.

• Conduct laboratory and field tests during the prototype stage, meticulously evaluating product performance and durability to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Provide proactive support to production teams, implementing strategies to enhance quality, reduce costs, and streamline production processes.

• Collaborate closely with customer service teams to analyze and address field issues promptly, maintaining a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

• Serve as a proficient communicator between suppliers and the company, adeptly interpreting customer requirements and facilitating effective collaboration.

• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and concept evaluations for new projects, contributing valuable insights to project feasibility and resource allocation.

• Monitor competitor products, analyzing features, techniques, and cost structures to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Uphold a zero-error approach in all tasks, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.

• Develop and implement strategies and solutions for addressing emergencies, ensuring swift and effective response to unforeseen challenges.

• Advocate for environmentally friendly practices during product development, exploring sustainable alternatives and minimizing environmental impact where possible.

• Ensure optimal utilization of company materials, tools, and machinery, implementing efficient practices to maximize productivity and resource efficiency.

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a preference for Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Production, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, or relevant fields, with a specific focus on the Flexible Packaging Industry.
• Profound understanding of flexible packaging processes, materials, and their applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional representation skills to serve as a key liaison for Constantia Propak with clients, auditors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, documentation, and presentation purposes.
• Proven ability to generate comprehensive and insightful reports that drive informed decision-making.
• Capacity to make autonomous decisions, prioritize tasks efficiently, and achieve measurable results within defined timelines.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, accompanied by a willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, particularly across Europe and the Middle East.
• Residency in the Düzce area or a readiness to relocate as necessary.
