Senior Sales Controller (Located in Europe)

Duties & Responsibilities:


As Senior Sales Controller you are part of the Commercial Excellence Team, which is the key driver behind our global sales team. In this important role, you are responsible for handling cost benchmarks within our plant network for customer and product profitability purposes. Furthermore, you prepare price benchmarks to evaluate target prices for business potentials as well as review, check and update customer cost models. Additionally, you drive the margin analysis, and detect deviations and optimization potentials for our sales force.

In this position you can work from one of our locations within Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.)



Among the daily duties and responsibilities are as well:


  • Prepare and conceptualize charts and dashboards for monthly / quarterly sales reporting and communicate in a comprehensive way the output to the organization
  • Create compelling analysis, presentations and reports on sales performance and identify improvement potentials
  • Support the continuous development and optimization of selected market intelligence tools and databases
  • Analyze competitor data for benchmarking
  • Preparing customer cost models in order to strategize for tenders and support our sales force in their daily work


Technical and Personal Requirements:


  • Educational Background in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Experience with Sales Controlling in a business context
  • Experience in commodity markets as well as with a customer oriented analytical function
  • Experience with Cost Models & Pricing
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and oral), any other language such as German, French, Spanish is preferred
  • Very good analytical skills
  • "Can do" Mentality
