Procurement Specialist

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced professional, who will join our Procurement Team.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for operational procurement of IT Hardware, IT Software, Professional Services, and non-IT, local equipment. The role is accountable for ensuring that the supply chain is managed effectively and efficiently by balancing the overall cost, quality, and risk. You will work closely with Group IT, Finance Services, and Group Procurement.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing Procure-To-Pay process within IT and non-IT purchases.
  • Managing the purchasing of Hardware (network and data center infrastructure, client hardware), Software, Professional Services, and non-IT, local equipment
  • Working with assigned vendors to negotiate the renewal of contracts.
  • Managing the tendering, selection, negotiation, and contracting for above mentioned.
  • Ensuring the verification and renewal of all ongoing Hardware maintenance contracts.
  • Support of IT Asset Management across software
  • Ensuring the effectiveness and timeliness of all procurement and purchasing in line with the processes.
  • Initiating new supplier/vendor/service provider creation in the SAP system.
  • Negotiation of commercial arrangements and contractual terms based on guidelines.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of procurement experience, nice to have experience within the IT industry,
  • Experience in using ERP systems, SAP would be an asset,
  • Excellent English communication language skills,
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and SharePoint,
  • Knowledge of Procure-To-Pay process,
  • Skills in the area of negotiations of Hardware, Software, and Consulting contracts,
  • Good interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders,
  • Experience in cooperation with external stakeholders in the international environment.
