Junior Specialist, Process Engineering
We are looking for a Junior Specialist, Process Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that the production processes of flexible packaging products, in accordance with the company's adopted quality policy, are carried out efficiently and on time, according to the production plan, with the desired quality and specifications, as reported by the Production Manager based on customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure production processes meet technical specifications and quality standards by organizing labor, scheduling, coordination, and reporting to the Production Manager.
- Conduct necessary controls during production stages to meet quality requirements, ensuring proper documentation.
- Participate in efficiency and improvement activities related to the production processes.
- Inform the Quality Control Department of any quality issues or non-conformities, take necessary actions according to instructions, and complete non-conformance forms.
- Identify, document, and track material needs for the department and communicate these to the Production Manager.
- Ensure regular and safe use of production machinery, tools, and equipment, initiate necessary actions, and oversee implementation.
- Consult with the Production Manager to ensure employees receive necessary training, identify responsible personnel, and monitor their development.
- Work on improving production processes and methods, and report results to the Production Manager.
- Attend joint meetings with other departments to exchange information.
- Prepare and implement documents and forms requested by the Quality Assurance Department.
- Play an active role in establishing and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, AIB, BRCGS Management System Standards, and address deficiencies.
- Perform risk assessments and identify hazards within the area of activity.
- Comply with safety, quality, energy, environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations, and procedures, including waste management, emergency procedures, and 5S activities.
- Evaluate customer complaints and take necessary corrective actions.
- Participate in energy management system activities, maintain documentation, and contribute to efficiency improvement projects.
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety, Food Defense, AIB, BRC-IoP rules, and energy efficiency guidelines for equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Excellent command of English and Turkish.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, AIB, BRCGS Management System Standards and process management.
- Ability to track production, quality, shipment, and raw material stock information on the system.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
